Bullnose “Patent Metal” steel rabbet plane with ebony wedge by Isaac Green of Pimlico, London. Green was a tool maker and dealer who was in business from 1857 to 1905.
An extremely rare and high quality cast gunmetal, steel and ebony unhandled coffin smoothing plane by C.W. Ridgeway of London.
Dovetailed Scottish style brass and steel parallel smoother by Bryan Lilley of England. Features pierced brass bridge, inlaid front bun and carved wedge.
User-made coachmaker’s T-rabbet plane with rosewood infill and wedge. The 1-3/4″ wide Marples cutter is bedded at a rather high 60 degrees. A most unusual infill plane.
